is not linked to your star photo on Maps. It is to be done as per Poin#10
I think this type of link can only be created on a desktop, laptop or Chromebook. You may find this tutorial helpful.

Mistakes do happen @MattGatlin but just let me or one of the mods here know and mention the permalink and we can move it. Keeping things in the right place and separating the discussion from the actual media I think just makes things look so much better and easier for everyone, especially newbies, to appreciate and follow.

Sowohl in den Alben Star Foto und Star Video funktionieren die Links nicht wie vorgesehen. Nur wenn der Link einer Rezension zugefügt wurde erreicht man das Video oder Bild. Es liegen ein genereller Fehler vor der für alle behoben werden muss. Bitte kümmern.
I am sorry you are having trouble and that it’s frustrating.
Just a reminder that it is a known issue that these links do not work on a mobile device. Given that generating these kinds of links is basically done only here on Connect for the Top100 star albums , I don’t think it’s likely to be fixed anytime soon.
If the problem is occurring when you are on a desktop or Chromebook, then that is an issue that needs to be looked into.

Well hopefully it can be solved. I have been able to open every video link (except for a couple that were incorrect)in the 2024 star video album on my Windows desktop and my Chromebook. Perhaps it varies from one locale to another?

I would like to understand better the link problem that you seem to be having so can you please provide a specific example (a screenshot perhaps might help) and also let me know what device (e.g. Android Pixel 7, iPhone 13, Chromebook, Windows PC etc) you are using when experiencing these problems.

Your Star 360 Sphere post has a couple of errors:
There is an extra character in the star link and an extra line after the caption under the image.
I think what you’ve written fits in very well with the layout and formatting criteria in Section 3, and in particular with item #11 (and the new Item #12). It’s all about providing the best possible user experience, easy to read, easy to follow and understand, and interesting and relevant content. You’ve clearly done that well.

Thank you for clarifying your comment @Annaelisa which I misunderstood. Yes some Local Guides have problems with links. Links and formatting are the issues with star posts and I commented about this earlier today (see here).

Thanks for the report, @nigelfreeney : I’ve made the changes to make the post consistent with the specifications.
The post was identical to last year’s, with the “extra” character in the star link; the double spacing at the beginning of the post was not inserted deliberately, but added by the system at the time of publication.
Everything should be ok now…
