hi @JeslynL , just leaves, but beautiful. In Italy we call it “Christmas Star”, and we use it as a present during Christmas.

I don’t know (actually, I don’t think) that 5 petals-flowers are more common than others: I’ll found a link for you that lists flowers divided by their petal numbers:

Actually, every petal of any flower is “just” a modified leaf that surrounds the flower reproductive system 
But in this particular case, they have not the usual petal function, so they are “just” red leaves.

grazie @Myrathor , le sto aspettando da giorni ma qui ancora non sono spuntate. Mi colpisce molto la lunghezza degli steli, quelle che crescono qui hanno gli steli cortissimi

Hoy salí a caminar por un lugar llamado El Rosedal, como su nombre lo indica hay muchos canteros de rosas y otras flores es un lugar muy lindo para caminar y sentarse en las pérgolas a ver a los gansos o simplemente ponerse a leer, aquí algunas flores

Questa immagine è molto particolare per me, sono i fiori che faceva mia mamma, finché ne aveva la forza. Ora è troppo affaticata, ma i suoi fiori riempiono la casa di tutti i suoi amici.
